We have secured some of the hottest tickets in town for your free night on Thursday, April 11th as well as some tickets to the renowned Barnes Foundation during your stay.

Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) is host to dozens of performances and hundreds of things to do city wide, asking audiences “If you had a time machine…”.  This is a very exciting time to be in the city!

The Barnes Foundation:
Check out the new location for the world’s leading collections of French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings. The Barnes collection includes 181 Renoirs, 69 Cezannes, 59 Matisses, 46 Picassos and 7 Van Goghs. Be sure to head to the second floor to see Henri Matisse’s seminal painting Joy of Life and mural The Dance, commissioned by Dr. Barnes. There is a fascinating story behind The Barnes Foundation, Dr. Barnes approach to collecting and displaying art, and its recent relocation to the Parkway.

Due to the unique way Dr. Barnes displayed his collection, there is a limit to the number of people who can be in a particular gallery at any given time. We have reserved tickets for on the following days and times.

Speaking of the Barnes Foundation, InterAct Theatre Company is reviving their most successful production ever. Permanent Collection garnered critical acclaim and the 2004 Barrymore Award for Outstanding New Play, before being produced at dozens of theatres across the country. Permanent Collection which was inspired by events at Philadelphia’s storied Barnes Foundation, this compelling drama follows a suburban Museum’s newly hired African American Executive Director, whose ideas for making adjustments to the permanent collection set off a firestorm of racially-charged controversies, within and beyond the institution’s hallowed walls.

Good People takes you to Southie, a Boston neighborhood where a night on the town means a few rounds of bingo, where this month’s paycheck covers last month’s bills and where Margie Walsh has just been let go from yet another job.  Facing eviction and scrambling to catch a break, Margie thinks an old fling who made it out of Southie might be her ticket to a fresh new start.  This new American play is a smart, funny and suspenseful story about people who succeed and the Good People who help them do it.
